We've bred this combination of Bernese Mountain Dogs
& Golden's and or English Creme Retrievers to get the best of both worlds of these loving breeds. We crossed them for many reasons. First off, they
both have similar personalities, wonderful temperaments with excellent confirmations, extra square blocky heads & bodies.
The traditional Bernese is considered a giant breed and therefore, it has a shorter life span. The English Creme Retriever
are considered a large breed, known for being generally much healthier than even the American Golden Retriever. When
crossing the the two breeds, we are striving to produce a longer living offspring while minimizing health issues. Bernese
can also be a bit aloof to strangers and generally don't live the water or to retrieve. Where as, English Creme Golden
Retrievers are known for generally loving towards everyone they meet including strangers, love to retrieve, and live for the
water. Both breeds are very calm, devoted and loving to their human families. So by crossing them, we are also striving
for offspring that will like the water, love to retrieve and are more of the outgoing side like the English Creme Golden Retrievers
.

Golden Mountain Dog Puppies
Golden Mountain are an excellent choice, they are
calm, social, very loyal/devoted
to their family, water dog, love to retrieve, with a healthier longer life than full Bernese.

All of our puppies are very social, they are
imprinted at birth and birthed in our home. They spend the first two weeks with us inside to be closely monitored and
handled daily. Then they are all raised with indoor/outdoor environments with puppy doors right from the start
so they will know that they should go outside to potty. We are often told that our pups have little to no accidents
and are virtually housebroken, although we tend to tell people about 80% at the time they leave us. Our puppies
receive first shots and deworming as well as any further shots needed while in our care, health guarantee, and we also offer
micro chipping. Our puppies are very submissive and extremely easy to train. We provide you with a great
getting started hand out, to help out in the preparation of bringing home your new pup. This handout was written
from our most frequently asked questions, it covers things like getting a good puppy book and recommends one. And what
puppy food, toys, beds, crates we would recommend. When and how to's with bathing, fleas, collars, when its okay
to go for walks, in public places as well as when to attend puppy class. What shots will be needed and when. etc. We
also provide you with a puppy packet to take home with you. We are always eager to answer questions and help in raising
our offspring. You can expect a life time of support when you get a puppy from our farm.

We are available by appointment to
meet our puppies, Please E-Mail or call to set up an appointment, so that we can make sure we have time to spend with everyone and
answer all your questions and to come meet the puppies. We are available during Saturday's Scheduled OPEN HOUSE'S and alternate dates and times by appointment.

Puppies MUST be 7 wks or older and have
received their Vaccines PRIOR to Visitors meeting them. Please Read Visiting the Farm Link Below for more information. Visting Our Farm

All of our puppies are kept current on shots. We
give our puppies a parvo vaccine and puppy vaccines, PRIOR to any visitor/strangers coming to meet them for their
safety. First sets of puppy shots
are given at 7 wks, they are then available to go to their new homes. Puppies here at our farm are ALWAYS kept current on shots, receiving
shots every 2-3 weeks apart. |
